Happy Holidays, My Dear Friends!
There’s only one week until I embark on my annual Christmas Eve journey and I couldn't sleep a wink last night! I was up reading “A Christmas Carol,“ to stay calm. We plan and prepare for Christmas all year, but there is always something else to do! You would think that after a few thousand years, this would be a breeze, but Santa still gets nervous!
The elves are busy in the workshop, crafting toys with utmost care. Mrs. Claus, the heart and soul of our operation, ensures that everyone is fueled with warm hot cocoa to keep their spirits high. I take mine with a shot of espresso these days!
This year I wanted to do something special. We could all use a bit more Christmas Cheer with the Earth in such disarray. So I wanted to give you all a glimpse of what goes into the week leading to Christmas. I bet it’s more than you think! But what’s more, I wanted to remind you all of the magic of Christmas. This season isn’t just about me, Rudolph, or receiving gifts.
It is about spending time with your loved ones, reminiscing about the year you’ve had and the lessons you all have learned, and spreading more loving kindness throughout your communities. I can only do my job because people like you still carry the spirit and magic of this Holiday. Happy Holidays!
